About us...
We are a school club focused on Science at Klamath Community College. We are made up of a variety of students with ranging interest in Science, from those who simply enjoy exploring Science to those pursuing a degree/career in Science, we welcome everyone! We believe in fostering the education of all Sciences for all ages and strive to do so through our school community and through our greater community. Below you can find a brief overview of what we do, meeting information, and our current officers and advisor. Current meetings for Spring 2012 term...
...are held on the KCC campus in room H207 on Friday(s) at 3:30PM. These meetings are subject to change, changes will be relayed via email and our Facebook group. At this time we do not plan on meeting the week previous to or the actual week of finals at KCC.
Some activities/events we do:- Experiments for kids at the YMCA
-Volunteer at the yearly Rock & Arrowhead show -Yearly plant sales (grown from seed) -Yearly fieldtrip for active members -Oregon Humanities guest speaker (once a year) -School sponsored events (i.e. club fairs) -Club sponsored school activities/events -Discovering Science Lecture series (with Dr. Mclure) -Badger Burrow cards -Recycling Awareness event -Campus Cleanup * Some events are yearly and some re-occuring.
